We’re absolutely thrilled, and to be honest, we’re still pinching ourselves.
When an email from the Škoda Auto headquarters in Mladá Boleslav landed in our inbox last autumn, inviting us directly to collaborate, it literally took our breath away. Years ago, when we were designing and prototyping the very first version of a mattress for our own Octavia, we did it purely for ourselves. Never in our wildest dreams did we think it would turn into a business one day—let alone that our products would earn the trust of the biggest Czech automaker.
And how did it all turn out? Our hand-stitched, locally-made Czech accessories became an official part of the presentation for the brand-new flagship, the Škoda Peaq!
World Premiere in the French Alps
The entire event was absolutely unique. The world reveal of this seven-seat electric SUV took place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, right at the top of Mont Salève overlooking Lake Geneva—a mountain often called the "balcony of Geneva." The automaker introduced the Peaq in style: sending it to conquer a mountain peak, a symbolic nod to the car’s name itself (Peak). And right there, under the Alpine sky among journalists from all over the world, cameras, and design sketches, micro-camping was represented by our very own OBYTNAQ!
Want to show off generous space? Roll out a proper bed
With a length of nearly 4.9 meters and a massive wheelbase, the Škoda Peaq is the largest SUV in the brand's history. And what’s the best way to demonstrate these monstrous interior dimensions? By turning the car into a perfect bedroom in just a few minutes! Folding down the rear backrests creates enough space for a mattress measuring nearly 140 × 200 cm, making it a full-sized double bed on wheels.
New car, new challenges (And two awesome new products for you!)
Making a mattress for a new model was no problem for us—the same premium craftsmanship, just new dimensions. However, the Peaq is unique, and we had to tackle two new challenges. As a result, we are adding two brand-new solutions straight into our product lineup:

The Wedge Mattress: The rear seats in the Peaq fold down differently than in other models, meaning the backrests remain at a slight angle. To ensure a perfectly flat sleeping surface, we designed and stitched our very first wedge-shaped mattress to level out the slope.

Thermal Screen for a Giant Panorama: The Peaq features the largest panoramic roof in Škoda's history, but it lacks a classic built-in sunblind. To keep the morning sun from waking you up, we tailored a custom panoramic roof thermal screen that blacks out the light and insulates perfectly. We’ll be rolling this out for other Škoda models very soon!
