At OBYTNAQ, we take a different approach. We want to show you that true freedom requires much less—even a regular passenger car that has long passed its glory days.
To prove it, we pulled a piece of honest Czech history out of the garage: the Škoda Forman. We took this classic '90s estate car and turned it into a fully functional retro micro-camper. And you know what? It works brilliantly.
No multi-million-crown luxury, just smart ideas
Our retro vehicle caused quite a stir at the For Caravan show in Prague. People shook their heads in disbelief when they saw how much could fit into such a compact classic. Yet, the recipe is super simple. No complicated drilling into the bodywork or expensive custom build-outs.
Just fold down the rear seats, and a comfortable bed is born:

Custom Folding Mattress: Unfolded, it creates a bed measuring 125 × 190 cm. No sleeping on uneven seats with the gear lever in your back—just a flat, comfortable mattress.

Smart Storage Space: After folding down the rear backrests, we needed to level out the height difference, just like we often do for the Octavia or Kodiaq. Underneath the bed, you can easily tuck away two camping chairs, a folding table, a stove, water supplies, and a portable power station.

Window Thermal Screens: Our blackout screens are tailored precisely to the Forman’s window dimensions. Once you attach them in the evening, you get total darkness and privacy inside the car.
In just a few minutes, you have a bedroom, a dressing room, and a kitchen all packed into a standard passenger car. With a car like this, you can navigate and park anywhere without restrictions.

Our camping Forman isn’t just a polished showpiece for exhibitions. We want it to live on the road.
