When planning to sleep in a car, many travelers run into the issue of an uneven sleeping surface caused by the height difference between the folded rear seats and the trunk floor. This annoying step—very common in Škoda vehicles—ruins camping comfort, making a good night's sleep practically impossible. After years of experience manufacturing custom car mattresses, we have developed an effective solution that ensures a perfectly flat, comfortable sleeping surface while preserving valuable storage space underneath. We most frequently solve this trunk step issue for the Škoda Octavia and Škoda Kodiaq.
Our Solution for Leveling Out Your Car’s Interior
To eliminate the height difference between the folded seats and the trunk floor, we designed the following features:

Trunk Support Blocks: We custom-make two lightweight, upholstered blocks that secure firmly in place with Velcro. These blocks level out the height difference between the trunk floor and the folded backrests, creating a perfectly flat base for your mattress.

Reinforced Mattress Segments: The sections of the mattress that extend over the trunk are reinforced with high-strength, lightweight panels. This construction provides excellent stability and support while remaining light and easy to handle.

How to Install Our Leveling System:
